Check your flex hoses
So I was getting off Route 44 at about 70mph Saturday night, and bam, pedal to the floor. I managed to get the truck stopped, I had some pressure when I pumped the pedal, also 2nd and 1st slowed me quite a bit. So I get it pulled into a liquor store, and checked the obvious.
The first one I checked is the problem:

The fitting rusted right out. The truck literally broke 72k on the drive up. I'm lucky this happened while I was alone, an hour before I was driving around with my girlfriend, and the day before that, my whole family.
I managed to drive the truck about 20 miles on rear brakes until I got to my brothers house. Then had to flatbed it 51 miles home:

So, moral of the story is to get under there and check those brakes. This truck has only driven 3,500 miles on the 6 inch lift, 10,000 prior to that on a level, and before that, 58,000 stock. I ended up buying 4 braided stainless hoses that are 6 inches longer. Check your fittings, there's no worse of a feeling than having your brake pedal go to the floor.

I can't imagine what that is like, as I still had rear brakes. Having all 4 go must have been bad.
