Default Showing off some 3rd Gen work

These are two pieces I just finished up. One is for an 02-05 and the other is an 06-08. Neither are for sale as they have owners. They were just nice enough to let me do the work and be apart of their projects. I cant wait to see these installed

Here is the 02-05 in the OEM burl with side accented pieces. This was based with red and hydro dipped, then clear coated and polished

Here is the 06-08 done in a graphite base and silver carbon fiber

When you are ready or need help deciding, let me know. I'm going to play with some other patterns and prints.

In fact, last night I just ordered 3 different candy flakes and 2 different base coats for paint.

I am debating between cutting my radio bezel to accommodate a double din or just purchasing the OEM Nav Bezel... you think you can PM me details on doing the Cut-out method?

Well I can tell you that I use a Bridgeport milling machine for precision cuts. It is slow work and controlled work. Doing it by hand can be costly if it is done incorrectly. This is why I don't work on guys pieces they have tried to do themselves.

The bad thing about the OEM navigation is you have to buy it first, then buy a big guy install kit and you loose the lower pocket. In a non-nav piece, I can do it for less that the cost of a OEM nav depending on the options and you don't need a kit and you get to keep the lower pocket. That's just plain cool right there

Nice work Weed. I actually just finished up my conversion on Saturday. I don't claim to be on the same level as you with milling and hydro dipping, but I enjoy doing the work myself.
I have a spot on the passenger side that's a little screwed up, so I will probably pull it off and fix it some time, but i just wanted to get it put in and have a radio for my commute.

if anyone wants the details on the conversion just let me know and I can give the general run down.
