Got my cab lights installed

Default Got my cab lights installed

Well, I did it myself. Took me about three and a half hours, two of those were spent on measurements. Once you drill you can't go back!

I followed this guide here to establish the locations. It's author uses Recon lights however the footprint of the lights is roughly the same, so I went with it.

I used this kit from Harbor freight: http://www.harborfreight.com/5-piece...kit-97966.html

I wired it in to turn on with the running lights.

Good job. I did mine myself too, seven years later - still no leaks...

does that mean theyll blink with the hazards?

They do not. They're wired into the headlight switch, not the running lights... I found a wire that gets +12v at any position other than off, checked the fuse (15amp, interior lights) and used that. Those lights draw near nothing.
