I have plenty say(don't want to get in trouble) but without more info, and the fact you joined DF just for that one sentence rant, I'm going to move this to the 3rd gen ram forum and let them have their way with you!

Wow. Do we even know if you bothered to maintain your vehicle properly? Did you ever do an oil change in those 80k miles? You join a forum to make that one extremely vague statement? Providing a little detail will get you very far in this forum. Otherwise, sorry for your loss and good luck with your next vehicle.

Since most of us have had little/no major problems, I'd suggest you should read the "Maintenance" section of your O/M. Having owned at least one of each of the "Big Five", I'll keep my Dodge Ram and buy another when the time comes.

Do you even know what engine you have?

Dang! So does mine! My POS Chevy said the same thing. It was ready for the crusher after 2 1/2 years and 64K.

LOL @dodgedude

All dodge trucks give me a break I have never had an issue with my 08' and 90% of the time it has my 14' enclosed construction trailer behind it. 80k on it same as you. Though it's unfortunate for you, Your experience is a VERY uncommon one.

Like those people that joined the 2nd gen section a couple years back just to b1tch and complain about the cracked dashes in their 10 year old trucks. They said that Dodge should warranty their dashes. lol

We all laughed at them.
