Those prices make ours look like a real steal. We paid $15,000 for an 05 2500 diesel 6 pack three years ago. It is a plain build, 2wd, rubber floor covering, no power windows or door locks but meets our towing needs admirably. Getting the a/c fixed this week first problem we have had.

Drove it over the weekend, I was really impressed with the ride of the truck, so much better than my fords i have owned. Truck is in great shape, it will be in my driveway by the weekend as long as the bank agrees!

well the mega's do go for a bit more, and it is amazing the difference in prices around the country.

I just traded-down from a 2007.5 2500 MegaCab with the 6.7 Cummins. I drive reasonably, and averaged 14.5mpg (hand-figured, not by the overhead display which read 2-4mpg higher than reality).

It was a a very reliable truck, drove it for 3 years. Solidly built. I had a few issues, O2 sensor, Fuel filter 2-micron recall/refit. Nothing major.

The only downside I had with it was that it is larger than 90% of the parking spaces, and hard to maneuver in the parking lot at work. That, and I didn't need the larger vehicle anymore.
