Default Pulling a travel trailor.

I have a 4x4 Dodge Ram 1500, 5.7 Hemi, 6" lift. My father in law just bought a gooseneck travel trailor. The specs on the trailor is 13,700 GVWR, 6000 GAWR. If i were to put a ball in the back of my truck, would I be able to pull that trailor without putting any harm on the truck?

Not a chance. For one thing, the 1500s are not rated for goose-necks at all. Your towing limit is < 7,000#, assuming you put bigger tires on. The tongue weight of the trailer is probably close to your payload capacity. If you don't have the trailer brake hook-up, pretty much any state would write you up even before you have the wreck.

Only goose neck travel trailers I have ever seen are either horse trailer combos or 5th wheels with goose neck kit on them. And if you use a kit on a 5th wheel, better make darn sure the RV will handle the extra strain as they are not really designed for that - but some do okay with it. Either way, I highly doubt your truck is rated to tow it. A couple years back I was looking to possibly get an ultra lite 5th wheel and pull it with mine but even that exceeded my ratings.
