New to the Ram forum, was a long time Dakota owner! I traded my 03 Dakota straight across for an 04 Ram 2500HD. Ram came with a 6" fab tech lift, some really crappy 35" Nokian tires with about 5% left. Horrible tire, will never use them again, recently installed 37" Hankook Dynapro M/T's, loving them so far! Also recently installed dual steering stabilizer shocks from super-lift. 1st time owning a 5.7, love the power but there's a lot of parts to it! Future mods include CAI, super chips tuner, may decide down the line to regear from stock 3.73's to 4.56's and a 2" body lift. Any feedback would be great!

 

nice trade! You will love those new gears if you do them, i don't think it needs the body lift, i like it how it sits, but thats just me.

I did the same, 04 Dakota to a 05 Ram Hemi both quad cabs.

 

No body lift it'll be too top heavy but looks great

 

Thought about a 2" bl just so the tires clear the inner fenders, rubs when I turn at full lock. Or take a heat gun and massage the plastic a bit...
