Hi, I have searched the forums and sites like crutchfield, installer.com, amazon, ebay, and others I can't remember.

I want to add a mini-din Aux input to the factory radio. I have found some ipod adapters, but none that are just a basic mini-din input. Can you point me in the right direction, please? Would I be better off just getting an aftermarket radio and harness adapter kit? I downsized from a 2007.5 2500, and didn't realize how much I used that little aux bugger.

I used a sat radio adapter, you can either wire the jack to a set of RCA cable (red/white) as someone did on here or just run an RCA to headphone jack out of the dash (what I did).

 

I haven't taken the radio out, yet, trying to limit the number of times I take it out and put it back in. The pictures I found didn't show RCA outs, only that Disc Changer / Satellite connector. Maybe I was looking at a different model.

Thanks, I'll bite the bullet and pull it to check. I think I still have an Aux->jack adapter from my old Dakota. Dunno why I had 'mini-din' on the brain. . .
