The 2005 Dodge Ram is above its blue book value from what I can tell. The 2007 is pretty close. I would offer $9000 maybe don't believe its worth $9800 but that all depends on what is available where you are at. It looks like both have been treated well from the picture but I would assume the 2005 was bought used if there is a loan on it. The 2007 is most likely single owner. If you can drive them both or at least find different one with 3.7 and 5.7 and compare the difference. I don't know if its easy to find 5.7 hemi's in regular cab trucks. I just looked online and I see a 2003 with 122,000 on it here in Chicagoland for $5,000. That one seems much lower than most its age. I see a 2005 with the 4.7 for $7900. For that size truck the 4.7 is probably fine.

Well I bought the hemi ill post up pics as soon as I can. What's funny is the water pump went out the same evening after buying it. My cousin is a certified mechanic so he swapped it over a couple beers. Only disappointment was I had to get a AutoZone durslast one for $100 because I need the truck for work. This truck is awesome it turns heads I love it. my dad thought it would be a bad idea to get a hemi but once he drive it he became a hemi fan lol. Oh and.the hemi was valued at &$10500 by the bank.

Too late to worry about it, but my wife's 08 Ram 1500 with the 3.7L and 6 speed manual has gotten 23.3 mpg over the last 13000 miles since we bought it in October of last year. That is mostly highway driving as I live between Bisbee and Douglas and have almost no stop lights or stop signs to worry with. It is a perfect commuter vehicle. The only downside is with the Kuhmo 10 ply off road tires, it rides like a gimpy mule. It'll bust a kidney. But when we get the money, we're going to switch out to the heavy duty tires for some light duty highway tires and the softest shocks we can find. The heaviest load we carry is a weeks worth of groceries. I have a 98 1500 with 2800# airbags for all the heavy work.
