I don't care if you have 26 in wheels. You should be spinning the hell out of those tires,if you have 4.56 gears. Truck just sounds down on power to me, and doesn't rev nearly fast enough for 4.56's

Ditch crossover, replace with 24in golrich xlerator muffler with built in crossover, gut the cats and pacesetter long tubes..deep growl then dump it.

305/45/26 is almost a 37" wheel. With a 4:56 gear combo, it's equivalent to having stock 33's with a 4:09 gear ratio.

I have 3:92's and 33" tires. My truck doesn't spin much at all on a hard launch. Maybe with some cheap street tires they would, but not when I had my LTZ's on. Stock tires would spin a bit but they just plain suck.

As for exhaust, I have a Magnaflow side exit. it has an 18" oval bodied muffler. I wish it had a 14" muffler for a little less restriction and slightly louder rumble but it does have a good tone/sound to it. I think I paid $510 shipped 6yrs ago.

I put LT headers on it, kept the same cats, both go into a y pipe and out of that is a 4" pipe that runs almost to the end of the cab and no muffler. the headers are 4" aswell. when it's idiling it sounds like a 440 stroker. when I give it gas it doesn't crackle at high rpm's or pop when I back off the gas. its got a deep sound but it's surprisingly not loud since there is no muffler. in the 2000-3000 rpm area it sounds like straight air flow. should I go with high air flow cats and a different intake next?
