Default Question about hood scoops.

Hi everyone. I've been a reader on this forum for a while but this is my first post. I own a 2004 black reg cab short bed 4x4 and I love it! The previous owner installed a cheap aftermarket scoop on it...didn't look too bad until the paint started pealing off (it had been painted without primer). Now I want to get the real Rumble Bee scoop.

My question is...is there more than one design of that scoop? I found this one online a couple hours from me. He says it's from a 2008 Ram. Can you guys confirm if it is a factory mopar scoop or aftermarket?

Thanks guys!

My question is why do you want a non functional hood scoop when you can get the SRT 10 hood with the functional scoop in it. All that scoop will do is catch air in it and ruin your aerodynamics. But to answer your question if its from an 08 then it isnt a Rumble Bee scoop. There are Rumble Bee scoops and then there is a Mopar one. There are many other ones that are aftermarket but those are the only 2 official ones.

Get a hood with the scoop molded in or don't get one at all. Bolted on/stick on scoops look junky.
