hey i have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 with a cai diablosport tuner custom exhaust setup (true dual) i was wondering anybody every try the bbk throttle bodies? either the 85 or 90 mm? i searched the forums i couldn't find anything if anyone has any info before i purchase one i would really appreciate it, thank you

 

I cant really help you on your TB question, but would advise you to contact BBK directly and tell them you mods and see what they say. They test everything they make and I'm sure could direct you to the right one for your truck....Let us all know when you find out because a lot of us have the same mods as you have and would be good knowledge

 

thanks a lot man i appreciate it, i saw a couple of youtube videos right from bbk said that it adds 19 horsepower, so i wanted to find out from users because if thats the info they are giving out i am really psyched or really scared, but i guess if i do what you suggested and speak to them directly on a one on one basis directly about my specific truck, thanks a lot never would have thought of that

 

well i found out that some people were throwing codes with a 90 mm throttle body, so some companies were making 85 and 87 mm tb's to not throw codes. but the 85's are good, it comes with new sensors i just ordered the 85mm bbk throttle body i'm going to hook it up when it comes in, should just be a clean install take the old one of put new one on, and i'm going to try the tb grounding a lot of people have been talking about
