Underdrive pulleys
To be fair there really isn't THAT much harm with installing an U/D pulley but it all just depends on the person and what they are using their truck for. I have put a lot of thought into getting an U/D pulley but I just can't get around the $200+ dollars for something that doesn't justify with the increase of HP. An e-fan or headers is a WAY better upgrade for the price.
LOL is a 4.7 guy really arguing with a Pack of Hemi's about a mod on a Hemi engine, and using his experience with one on a COMPLETELY different engine as support? This place has not changed in the last 4 months I've been gone lol

Yeah, that dirtydog guy just keeps talking about his mustang when everyone else is taking about rams. It doesn't make any sense.

I don't know how you can argue 20% underdrive doesn't mean 20% less rotation on all the accessories and the fact that it couldn't and wouldnt cause problems??
If you want to argue engine for engine. OP asked about a Hemi. I assume you have a 4.7L which is diffferent.
Also, a crankshaft Only pulley will reduce all components by 20%. You would want to get a 3piece pulley kit which accommodates the alternator and waterpump to allow them to spin slightly faster than the rest so your not depriving cooling and charging as much. I didnt have steering problems with my truck and only on the mustang at idle. All other times was ok.
This thread is going no where.
