I drive an 08 Hemi 2x4. Got myself stuck in the mud this past weekend. Had to dog the hell out of it to get out. On the way back to the house, I noticed that from a stop, it shifts smooth as can be. However, from a roll, when the transmission goes to down shift, it misses at first then catches. Not really sure I wanna know the answer, but need to get it fixed ASAP. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

drop the pan change the filter, while looking for excessive flakes of clutch materiel in the fluid. also smell the fluid to see if it is burnt.
