Hey guys I have an 07 quad cab all white. And I have a all chrome grille and I want to get a all black mesh insert and have the shell all white. I found my black mesh insert but I do not know where to get the white shell for it to set in. Or of I could just pair the one I have white, but not sure It will look good painting over chrome? Anyone have anything for me? Thanks

I just scuffed up my chrome grille shell and painted it as I have a white truck also. My Sig pic is old, so it doesn't have the painted grille. About to do both bumpers and caps. Most advise to use an etching primer on chromed metal and a adhesion promoter on chromed plastic.

 

I paint plastics all the time. If you alrehave the tools and know how, go for it. If not, source it to a local paint shop and save the headache/time
