Hi, I have the 1500 Ram with the infinity Radio CD/Tape deck what are my options as far as aftermarket size?

Would this fit ?

If either or would work can you tell me everything I would need to get to make the install? Links to the stuff would help thanks a lot.

Visit crutchfield.com. They will be able to tell you what fits your vehicle. Then go to other places from there after learning what will fit and what wont fit to find the beat prices.

A DD radio will not fit in a 2002-2005 RAM unless you purchase a custom radio bezel/surround (or custom cut yours, which is a pain). Weedahoe used to sell them on here, and Metra makes one now too [
Metra 95-6522B Metra 95-6522B
]. The early 3rd gen RAMs were technically a Din-and-a-half opening, so if you don't want to mess with the custom DD surround, you will need to purchase a single Din radio and a mount kit [

].

If it were me, I wouldn't even consider a single din, and would install the Metra 95-6522B and a good DD head unit.

I spoke to best buy about doing the install and they said they could, I am guessing they would get the double din mount kit? I didn't think about this nor asking them when i had called which was prior to this post.

If you're going to BB, make sure you talk to your installer (not just any installer, the one actually doing your work) to get a feel for how knowledgeable he is. Ask probing questions. BB is extremely hit and miss with the installers they hire. I would only use BB if there were no reputable custom audio shops nearby.
