Default Torsion Bars lowering front end

Hello all. Currently i have my 2003 Dodge ram 4x4 with the Torsion Bars Cranked up, a friend of mine did this for me. Now i need to lower the front of the truck because i ripped a Cv. Is it just turning the bolt son the torsion keys anything else i need to do besides that.Any thing else i need to know befor i start turning. thanks

Yeah, sounds like he over cranked. About 1.5" should be max for a poor man's lift.

all ya gotta do is crank back down, but get the front wheels off the ground. With weight on the wheels, you need gorilla arms to turn em, plus you risk stripping or even snapping the bolts or damaging the keys...

Thanks alot for the info this helps me out alot. Do you think i need an alignment after doing that. Would hate to spend more money on this than i have to.
