Need some assisantce
I have a 2005 3rd gen, 4x2, 6 speed manual transmission. It is currently having a/c problems. The line with the orifice tube going into the evaporator core will frost up, the dryer sweat or have moisture. The high pressure will be 300 psi, the low pressure will be from 0 to 10 psi. There is no condensation coming from the evaporator core. I though the compressor or the orifice tube was the problem. I installed a new compressor, a new orifice tube and a new dryer, PAG oil, Freon. I had the system running, the pressure remained about the same. Orifice tube line still will frost over, the dryer will not show any moisture at all. I checked the vent doors on the inside of the truck for anything blocking the air flow into the truck, blowers run on high but will not blow any cold air. Is there anything else that could be causing the orifice tube to frost up?
What does the transducer on the air compressor control?
