My 03 ram 1500 now has 2 cracks in the dash that just appeared in the last month.One crack on the outer dash near the windshield and the next crack even bigger right next to the flat part above the glove compartment.I always kept the dash clean and used armor all but it didn't help at all.I thought the cracking dash issues ended with the 2nd gens but it doesn't my 03 is cracking like crazy and there is definitely still an issue with it with the 3rd gens.Do any of you guys have any issues with cracks in the dash?I like dodge rams this is my 3rd one that i have owned but I may not buy another one after this because this is my 3rd ram with cracks in the dash.

 

I believe mid-2003 they remedied the dash crack issue.

 

I looked up today what years the cracking stops at and it seems it goes all the way to 05 and some 06's have the issue also.total junk never will I buy a dodge ram again.

 

The 2nd gens had this problem and it lasted on the 3rd gens from 02 into 04 before they either switched vendors or plastic formula. Took over 100,000 miles for it to happen on my 03. When my heater core went I found an 05 dash and swapped it in. Ain't had a problem since.

 

Mine an 05 and no crack yet😎
