Auto. Tranny
Well cold probably didn't have anything to do w/ it..
Truck seemed fine.
Cleared the code days ago. No long trips but hasn't went back on again.
I assume this is for the solenoid inside the tranny.

now a bit more history w/ this truck. At times the console shift didn't "respond".. i.e woudn't go in reverse when dead cold.
Kind of hard to explain except to say it acted "funny" at times.Sticky sort of or not going into a "notch'..
It's a RARE occurrence but caused me to wonder about the cable/lever (is there a cable?)
Couple of weeks ago during another sub-zero spell it was probably the worst it ever was. Actually thought I wasn't going to get it in drive/reverse.
Threw it into 1st just fine. Went forward then went reverse/ drive just fine..
It's weird because that seems more mechanical than anything.

Though I doubt its related to the code so back to this..

Will be getting the fluid/filter changed (60,000 miles) and was considering a solenoid replacement since I (well someone) will be in there anyways..
Got about a week or 2 before my appointment and will def. do it if code appears again. but if not????

Oh tranny fluid looks fine pinky/orange..not particles..

What do you think? Replace the solenoid?
