I have a 2004 Ram 1500 Quad cab with something called a Thunder Road Package. The truck was originally purchased from Steve White Motors in Hickory NC. The Package includes all the ground effects of a Rumble Bee along with a painted OEM fiberglass bed cover, chrome exhaust tip and aluminum gas door. There is a chrome trim plate on the back that says thunderroad. The option was added on and cost $3100.00. Has anyone heard of this option, I have never seen another one like it up north ?

"The Thunder Road package is a value group offered from Dodge, much like the Big Horn Edition, or Lone Star Edition.
Thunder Road package is a option with the SLT trim package includes: Sliding rear window, 17" Polished forged aluminum wheels, fog lights, trailer tow hitch tow hooks, Sirius satellite radio, and of course the Thunder Road badges. These trucks are available only in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast business centers."

 

Judging from the additional thunder road sticker on the original window sticker, it almost looks like a dealer add on thing.
