Heater won't kick in until I'm driving

Default Heater won't kick in until I'm driving

My heater won't kick in for a while any suggestions?

if you are describing the blower fans pushes air but no hot air...check for a low coolant level. when its low it won't put out heat until the engine is moving the water pump faster; providing more coolant flow thru the heater core. If the level is low...you have a leak. have the cooling system pressure tested. maybe the waterpump is leaking.

if the level is ok...maybe the heater core is plugged due to lack of cooling system fluid changes.

Thabk you I guess I should check my fluids more often haha
