Default So check it out

I know a lot of you guys don't like the bull bar look, after buying mine I didn't like it either as it stuck out way to far and made my ride look like it had a fat lip. So I had some time today, removed the front bumper cut a holes in the lower air dam and made new mounting brackets so I could put the bull bar through the air dam raising it and pulling it in closer to the bumper, I actually pulled it in 2.25 inches by doing this. I think it turned out pretty nice and looks much better, I also added some eye lids that I painted the other day. All and all was a good day, everything worked out for once....

Oh I also put some LEDs under the hood so the SRT hood scoop will light up red at night, should be pretty sweet looking, I will have to wait til dark to get pics of that though... I will post them after I take em...
Here is a like to the project. Cutting out the rear resonator tomorrow, the Aero muffler is not loud enough with it on.

Excellent work! Looks a lot better.

Nice when you do work on your truck yourself and it comes out looking like a professional quality job, isn't it?

Thanks for the replies, just went out and looked at the Led's under the hood in the dark and it was a big disappointment to say the least. They are not bright enough, I will have to try mounting them somewhere else. I think it would have looked really nice if it were a little brighter, when I get up close like at about 4 feet it looks really cool. I know some are thinking lights under the hood what the %&$k, I am not trying to achieve the night rider thing here just a little looook here I am a Dodge Ram with a big bad hemi... Are neon lights brighter??? I may have to try something different. What would be cool is a old electric fireplace wheel with the fake flames with the light bulb... Just kidding....

The lights in the hood scoop are a sweet idea, but in down here in oklahoma the lighted washer nozzles are illegal. If they are up there a cop could possibly get you for the scoop. I wouldn't go to bright is what Im saying I guess.

Not to worried about the hood scoop because it is a OEM Stock Mopar SRT hood, so it is legal. I am sure I will get a ticket for the light, as cops are dixs and it will only be a matter of time. I am sure i will also get it for no plate on the front, we are suppose to have plates on front and back here in Wisconsin. However rumor has it they are going to ditch that law next year as it cost to much to make double plates.
Any ideas for a brighter light would be awesome. Thanks for the feedback.

Looks great man!! For the LED's here if they are red or blue or any combo of the two together you can get hit with a hefty fine for impersonating a police car, same goes for a black light as well. Any other color would be ok but none of those 3... Good luck cant wait to see the finished look
