Well folks thanks to a lot of looking and you folks, I finally got me some new tires. I managed to get some Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2's 265/70/17. I took about a 100 mile trip on them today and I must say it is a huge difference from the Worn 315/70/17 bfg AT's I had on there. The ride is great, Nice and quiet and best of all, My highway mileage is back up to about 20mpg.
The 265/70/17's don't look to bad either, Although my truck is lowered about 4 inches in the rear and about touch less than stock in the front. Ill try to get a picture after work tomorrow.
For anyone looking for a good deal, Firestone store gave me a Buy 3 get on free deal on the revo 2's So for tires would have ran me $680 after mount balance and taxes.
However I talked the guy into knocking $60 off that price by telling him how I could get a comparable tire offline for less than $500, So out the door with everything they ran me $620.
Now to top things off, If you goto firestones website, There is a coupon for a $100 amex giftcard if you purchase 4 revo 2's. So hopefully I won't have any problems with that and Ill have walked away with 4 revo2's for $520.
The guy also offered the deal on 4 of the the destination A/T's for $530 out the door. Which had comparable tread pattern, same mileage warranty and really good reviews. I chose the Revo2's basically because I like the look of the tread on the side. At the time, I didn't know about the coupon, So It might have been a better deal anyways.
