Default 02 dodge ram 1500

I just got my truck a few months ago,an 02 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L V8. I have been wanting to level the front end, but I didnt know what was the best way to go. I heard that the Truxx 2" lift was the best, but it is very exspensive.I didntknow if the "cheaper" versions with just the spacers would take away from theride, and if so, how much? Basically I just want to know what is the best leveling kit for the money? Thanks

I crawled under my truck and cranked up the torsion bars. Or you can go to an alignment shop and they will do it. You might have to get your front end aligned afterward.

I bought leveling torsion keys for mine off of ebay. Didn't "require" new shocks, but one good bump blasted the drivers side shock out the side. So I'd recommend them. Also an alignment. Did it all myself minus the alignment. Paid $80ish for the keys, $120ish for the shocks, $30 for the alignment and about 4 hours without the correct tools.

Alright. What size shock is needed and is there any particular company that I should look for? Also once this is completed I wanted to put some meaty tires on it. I was thinking about 33X12.5, but not sure if that will rub or not. I heard you could fit 35's but I find that hard to believe, and if anyone has pictures with their truck leveled and on 33's or bigger let me see them please. Thanks
