I have a 2005 Ram with an infinity sound system. Everything worked great until one day the rear speakers (all door speakers) quit working and sound only came from the front. Two days later everyting worked fine again. Lately this has happened two other times. Is it possible that something is loose or is the system going out??

 

you may have to pull door skins to see if there is a short, if not check the plugin in back of stereo

 

if both rear doors are cutting out i would lean towards a bad or loose connection in the dash behind the head unit. if it was a loose wire in a door panel only one speaker would cut out. that is my guess and i dont claim to be always right. just most of the time.

 

I can't believe I spent over $1000.00 for this ****ty sound system! Dodge could have done so much better......What a joke!

 

i swaped ,mine out as soon as i got the truck it was the 4 speaker system i bought infinity 6x9 for the frount and infinity in the back with apioneer head unit with two 10s in the back and it sounds great it was worth the 1000 that i spent on it andi can use my cell phone through it
