Reprogram Computer for Larger tires
Well I took the little 265's off my 06 2500 Hemi QC 4X4 and put 315's on it, they look great, ride great and no rubbing at all. They are mounted on the stock rim with stock supension.
Obviously the computer is all out of whack, took it to the dealer to have it reprogammed, they were only able to program it for 285's, it is better but still not right.
My question: Is the dealer I used full of crap? Is there an after market programer that could make this right?

Somebody else on here will have to help me out with this but the way I understand it, a Superchips can reprogram it for you. I don't have one yet, but it's in the works and I've been doing research onthem.
I've got the 3815 and used it to reprogram the speedo after I put on my tires. I set the programmer for 33"s and it got pretty close but was still 3-4mph off, being slow, 45 showing radar 42. Not sure but I was thinking this might be caused from the bigger tread? Anyway better slower than faster
Thanks for the reponses
So then it will work for tha large of tire uing the Supechips, that is good to kno. Why the heck oul an aftermarket tuner work for larger tire than the OEM doe not make much sense to me.
So who has the best pric on these Superchips tuners?
