Putco chrome trim

Default Putco chrome trim

Any one having problems with the chrome peices falling off? I just bought and did not realize it was adhesive tape.

Hi ya Eckel
Just make sure ya clean all your surfaces with alcohol or a wax removal fluid.
Then clean it one more time for good measure, heh.

Mine have been on for over 6 months with no fall offs.

I usually do a pull check on em when I wash Da Hemi. Just to make sure.

yeah.....just check it eveyonce and a while and make sure its on good......you will be fine if you do....

Like the other guys said . . . lots of cleaning. Also, do some trial fits before youpeel the protective film off the 3M adhesive tape to get a feel for how you will install the pieces. You know, a dry run. You will only get one chance to stick 'em in the right place. When I mounted mine, I made sure the top edge was flush with the door and worked down from there. The top edge fitting tightis most important for a good look. I, for one, really like the Putcos on my Ram.

yeah....there cheaper then buying real steel or billet doorhandles.....(at least 150bucks cheaper) and your average person cant tell the difference
