limited slip differential

Default limited slip differential

Maybe this is a dumb question to some but how do you know if you have a lsd on your truck I have a 04-5.7 hemi with the image group as they call it(Grille,and bumpers same color as the body)

i believe that is a sport package but im not positive there..... but if you still have your window sticker it will be in there another way is under your hood it will tell you what size dif wat gearing and if it says lsd after the gearing then bingo... and the funnest way is just do a burnout if it lays to lines your golden

look inside the glove box on the build sticker...thats where mine is....but yah funnest way is deffinitly do a burnout and see if ur a one wheel wonder or a two striper.

What's the best way to do a burnout. Everytime I get on the gas off a stop light or something, the back just breaks loose and that's all there is to it. Putting it in 4wd, all 4 break loose. No way I can lay down rubber with stock 20" wheels/tires

Never try and spin all 4 tires on dry payment, good way to destroy alot of parts. All I do to do a burnout is stomp on the brake and easy into the gas to get the RPM's up. Our trucks have torque management, when the computer senses too much torque is backs down the RPM's. This makes it impossible to do a burnout. Just ease into the gas to get the tires going then once the tires start spinning hold it there, they'll start smoking.

well my truck must be completly different then yours cause i have no problems whatsoever doin burnouts...cept i cant afford to buy tires lol
