Default Bosch Platinum Spark Plugs

I just got my windows tinted yesterday andafter a discussion about aftermarket products and increased performance, the dude at the shop told me to replace my stock plugs with Bosch Platinum 4 spark plugs. He said I would definitely notice a difference when I step on the gas. Was he full of crap, just trying to sell me a product?

Most likely trying to feed you some crap. The platinum plugs are supposedly pretty bad on the hemi engines. I'm going to be changing plugs and wires soon and plan on sticking with the factory champion plugs.

All the blower guys go with the stock Champions. We just gap them closer.

There was a ton of tests done and no plug makes any more power or anything.

Don't waste your $$.

Do a search on the forum about the subject... lots of negative feedback on using the platnums... glad I joined here... I been putting them in my vehicles for years... I would have been pissed if those plugs gummed up my engine.

Stick with the stock plugs. You won't see any change if you switch to a "high performance" plug
