Hey guys, i have a 2002 quad cab ram, well i have my box/subs and amp that i pulled from my old explorer, and i was wondering about a few things. #1. I have a hard tonneau cover, so what is the best way to run the wires from the bed to the front? #2. How do i pull the stock headunit out so i can configure the wires. #3. Can i hook up everything to the stock headunit? Any pictures on how to would help alot. thanks.

Hey sorry no pics but to the best of my knowlege your cant hook any aftermarket stuff up the the stock radio. And to remove the radio by the little hook thing on the lower center dash if you look up under it there is one screw to take out and other than that the black peice and the small tan dash peices surrounding it just pop off there just on with clips, and after that the radio is held in by 4 more screws. Its a pretty easy install. And just in case your new to installing stereos you will need a wiring harness and a dash kit peice.

If you are hooking up subs in your truck, there is a box that I think you can still pick up at radio shack which is called a low pass filter. There are several different types, so make sure you are gettin the right one. This box has two wires on one end (which will hook up to the + and - of any stock speaker wire) and the other end has two inputs for RCA cables which will hook up to your subs. I have a '02 quad ram with the infinity system and I've fooled around with it quite a bit, so if u need any more help, let me know.
