And BTW (I work with alot of ex/former military personnel, but am not one myself) due to their sacrifices and thosefallen (GOD rest their souls) protecting You, I, and the rest of the people in this country. They have a right to be (for lack of a better term) ******. Because they have learned the hard way nothingshould be taken for granted......when they were getting shot at it was for the right reason......most likley if you were getting shot at it was for the wrong reason. I do however recognize people make mistakes...and I know if you are around something regularly...you'll most likly succomb to the common error of ways. I'l like to applaude your parents for doing the right thing by getting you out of the situation......and to applaud you for staying out of it thus far. Also highduke...no, $100 for flows isn't that great. They are around $135 on flowmaster.com...and you can get them off ebay...usually $25-$75 brand new.

I don't know why it didn't hit me earlier but I am going to look into either a K&N CAI or just a filter for higher air flow into the engine. A K&N CAI is looking to be about $250 whereas a filter will be about $50. I am looking at the most bang for my buck with the highest instant results that will either pay itself off or nearly so by the time I take my summer trip.

 

All I've done so far is 22's, a DVD/TV system and some dark tint. I'm looking to get a lift and bigger tires, maybe some 18 or 20 inch rims so I don't have to be so nervous around curbs and then I need to find this place that makes canvas camer shell covers that fold down like a jeep top but towards the cab. I lost the link and can't remember who made them. Further down the line would be some headers, better exhaust and then maybe some engine mods. All depends on how much money I can launder from the wife

 

well yesterday ordered my pocket style fender flares, westin ultimate bull bar, set of baja touch 100W chrome lgihts for the bar. Currently working on a custom fabbed steel bumper for the rear of the truck. Then over the summer plan on doing the 6.1L cam swap and putting some headers and exhaust cutouts on as well.

wait, you said that $100 isnt that greta but on flowmaster.com theyre $135? lol. but im not big on ebaying... fear mainly. but i guess i can risk it once... so ill check ebay for some flowmaster 50 series. what should i be expecting to pay for installation? i mean, im just gonna get rid of the front(?) OR the rear(?) resonator. i gotta look up the exhaust thread again. so its 1 res im getting off and putting the 50 on there. any ideas on the price? oh, and what kinda cold air intake should work well on the truck?

 

I would like to put a nice radio in the truck.Something with a big screen on it to watch movies. My cousin installed one in his F-150 and it's really nice. Maybe 20" rims, an SRT-10 hood, and a CAI.

 

yeah. i wanna get NAVI, or at least a flip-out too. oh, i heard that there are bezels for our trucks to put in Double-Din stereos... hm... looking at the AVIC-D3... its a beautiful piece of equipment.

 

My cuz put in a kenwood that was like 600 bucks. It's cool but that seems expensive.

 

My bud is building a little electronic box that will drive 3 different colored LEDs that I will mount in the gauge pod to give me a fast reference as to what amount of boost I'm making.

1 will let me know that I'm making 3lbs
2 will let me know that I'm making 8lbs
3 will let me know that I'm making over 8.5lbs and its time to lift and readjust the boost controller.

I really never want to see the 3rd light.
