Good to hear scott. If anyone else is wondering you can get the solenoid box off with out lowering the winch but it is a major P.I.T.A. I would know as I removed once and will be removing it again. You can take the two band clamps off and then undo the 3 large cables and you carefully push it out towards the front of the truck. In all honesty it may be easier to lower the winch... I dont really know.
