Default Ran my Ram in the 1/4

Well I went to the racetrack last night in my R/C Ram. It has the 4.7 and completely stock down to the air filter. I was dissapointed with the time. I lost to a freakin FX4 supercrew F-150 with big a$$ tires.

How much does an engine swap toa Hemi/with transmission cost? I heard someone said 3k?

I have videos of the runs if anyone is interested.

There's a few things more to it than just the engine/trans. All the other associated hardware/parts will drive the price up further.

That sounds a little cheap to me. But I may be wrong, I don't know....

youd be better off just trading it in and getting a hemi if you are going to go that route.

and if it makes you feel better, the ford must have had a ton done to it, they arent fast at all stock. i beat a 5.4 extended cab f150 in my 4.7 quad cab easily.

You might beable to find a wrecked Truck with a Hemi in it for under $3k but like HemiLoanstar said there will be hidden (unforseen) cost with the transplant.

I think your times werepretty goodfor a bone Stock 4.7. You did good man.

You might beable to get itdown close to15 for under $1K
