miss fire in more then 3 cylinders?

Default miss fire in more then 3 cylinders?

i hooked my truck up to a scan tool at work and i was miss firing on the 5th and 7th cylinder and a miss fire every once in a while and it said that it has been doinf this for 600 miles...the engine has over heated on me twice due to the water pump i changd the spark plugs...but does anyone think i could of fried the coil pakcs or any suggestion would be greatly appreciated mabybe simmilar problems with the 4.7?

if it's a multiple cylinder misfire, you need to look at things that affect multiple cylinders, not just one.....such as a ground, clogged fuel rail, computer, etc....

You said you changed plugs. Check your harness clips on the coil packs and make sure they are in and locked down.

everything is clipped down but i think i fried a couple of coils...thank u
