I tried searching around on this site but to no avail.
What is a short belt mod, and how is it done?

 

It is a shorter accesory belt that deletes power steering and A/C compressor. It is good for 8-10 HP at the track. Part number is 538K6 and you can get it at most auto part stores.

 

Im thinking about doing this, would u recommend it?

 

Depends. are you going to take it to the track? Then yes swap out your belt before you run. As far as a street application, good luck driving w/o ps. I had to drive mine 1/2 mile or so when it through the belt off.....It was next to impossible parking it. Not worth it if you ask me.
