Hey guys. i was wondering if anyone has had a pulsing in the tranny when u let off the brake and let the truck just idle in gear even moving a little.it just started doing this and it kind of concerns me . i have 94000 kms on it so the warrenty is not going to help much.other than this pulsing it runs and shifts great and i've had no problems with it. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

I haven't had it happen to me yet, but (past experience) that usually means it's time for service. Change fluid and get the bands checked/tightened. Automatics will just go and go and then, uh oh no 2nd, no 3rd or just die alltogether.

 

How bad is the pulsing? If your tranny still works fine and the gears feel distinct it's more likely you have a worn out bushing on one of the engine mount that's causing the pulsing.

 

Check the fuel injectors.
