I dont know about getting better mileage, but I know it helps to increase the horse power a little bit.

**** you know what... it was a "limited time offer" so to speak. he had it on the site for $999 as a special offer for us DF member i think. on the first post he made, i think he left a number and all that stuff. give him a call and so forth and see what he can do for ya. i do know that it was $999. no doubt about it!! i dont know what it is now though. but it was $999 when i was on the site.

The basic sts turbo kit for our trucks is around $4K, plus you need a tuner for around $1K.

Then the install, gauges, etc.

I'm an STS dealer. I sell the basic kit for $3600 plus shipping or $120 from STS. The tuner is still another $1K, I have the contact info for where to order it. It comes with larger injectors and a 2BAR MAP sensor and basic hemi tune.

STS retails the basic kit for $4195, so there is NO WAY that guy didn't make a typo, I think he dropped the leading 3, LOL!

i know they both increase hp, but how much did they increase your gas mileage?
Back to your original question: From all the research I've done on this and other forums the answer is: very minimal. I would say more impact on a 4.7 then a 5.7. The Hemi intake already is pretty damn big. Of course everyone will tell you it's great but I would to if I just dropped 300 bones on a filter, it's human nature. If you want the sucking sound and the exhaust rumble anda little more oomph off the linego for it, but don't do it purely to increase mileage. Try an ebay no-name brand for cheap. Most guys do that anyway. I just use a drop in cleanablefilter just to save money with stock exhaust and my mileage seems to be right around average for everyone that I've talked to, modded or not.
