Very soon I will be buying a new Ram. I have been looking around and found that the new quad cabs dont come with painted bumpers? I noticed on some models in like the 2002 - 2004 have painted bumpers on the quad cabs. Did Dodge stop puting painted bumpers on? I've only seen painted bumpers on the new Sport model, which is 2 door. Iam very new to Dodge. I've been a Ford Owner for a long time.

 

not anymore. they used to have them. i think it ended in 2004. its a new styling thing. kinda like the new headlights and now the new tail lights. you know? personally, i think the chrome bumpers in the back look better! now, if youre talking about the front bumpers, they wont match if they match this criteria: its a v6 or its a diesel truck strictly made as a work truck. it costs less than the reg. cummins without the "goods." you digg? hope that helps.

 

That does help. I really liked the 2002 headlights & tailights. Dont care the new ones. I thought it looked really sick. I really liked the looks of the Rumble Bee Ram.

 

find a rumble bee one. i really like the rumble bees myself. the ram line consists of Daytonas, Rumbe Bees, and Night Runners. They are all sick looking rigs man! i bet you can find one for yourself. oh, get a quad cab when you get the ram too. i think you might by the sound of your first post. but even if you say you odnt need the extra room for the quad cab... you will! lol. trust me! its well worth it. yeah, but the rumble bees are really, really nice. thats when i absolutely fell in love with rams. they were always my favorite truck, but after i set eyes on one i then was like, ehhh... dodge is my favorite truck.

 

The Dodges have been growing on me, the girlfriends fathers, friend owns a Dodge Dealership! So hopefully I can get a good deal, and if I do. Youll see me on the forum more. Iam current on a Ford Explorer Forum. My curren is the 98 XLT model of the explorer. I would love to get a rumble bee. I got my eyes open. Quad cab is the only way I wanna go. If I get one, then I get to deak it out with all my red lights and strobs. I am a Volunteer Firefighter.

 

get teh sport with the regular cab and the short bed. The RCSB's look sooo much nicer than the quad cabs and they are shorter which makes them much nicer to drive. I've test driven both and gotta say the reg cab is soo nice. the quad cabs and megas are like minivans or SUVs.

 

I don't know about the 2007 model,but the 2006 Quad comes in a Sport Model. All painted front end. There is a black one in the 2006 brochure.

 

Its gotta be quad cab. I like the extra room.

I think the quad cab for someone like me with a family is the only way to go unless you are lucky enough to have a mega cab. True for drivability ease scsb is the way to go, my personal preference is when I get a truck, I want it to be big.
