Default Flowmaster 70 on a 4.7

Will this affect performance? If so, how?
Thanks for the input...I just heard a sound byte on the other forum and it sounds AWESOME!

Adam,
It will help with the horsepower, freeing up the output is only half the equation. A good cold air intake will help with the total output being somewhere above 20 horses. I experienced 24 at the rear wheels after the exhaust and CAI on the dyno. I am running the 40 series and the Airaid intake and tube. You should be happy with the end result.

Hey, that was you who posted.

Question, was there any loss of power to your truck? Might have to go check Meineke this week....

I went from stock to glasspack to FlowMaster 70. The glasspack had a def dip in midrange(but sounded good as hell). The 70 gave back the midrange and added a bit of punch. www.geocities.com/dheath_1999/ram.mp3 is a sound byte
