Rear Sway Bar for Ram
I am thinking about installing rear sway bar on my 04 quad cab 1500. I see Addco makes a unit that sells on ebay. Has anyone used one of these and if so, is it an easy install and does it cause any interference with exhaust system? They also offer a front bar for the same application which I assume is a larger diameter than stock unit.
I have hotchkis front and rear sway bars on my ram. I truly think the rear sway bar makes the most difference. Huge difference. The truck stays level and feels stable on tight turns. Awesome handling i must say so myself. Not viper-like handling, but very nice for a truck.
Very nice indeed. Front sway bar installation for me was just direct bolt on replacement of the stock one. The rear required some drilling into the frame to attach the sway bar links. Nothing too tough.

I don't have one front or rear but I did see this. Might help you out.

does the swaybar kit help any with the "jitters" my 07 g.c thunderroad has the jitters ifhit the smallest of bumps on a curve ..feels like the rear end wants to leave the road even when driving at 60 mph or higher if i hit a bump such as an expansion joint on the highway kinda feels like the whole thing twists or like rear end hop this might not be safe in the snow ....any help?
The jitters are part of the suspension design, can't be helped. Rear sway bay is a definite HUGE help. Shame they only stick factory ones on reg. cabs and not QC's. It was the first thing I did to it.
