Default Radio Information

Hello,
I am looking at buying a replacement radio for my 06 Ram. The seller says he radio part number is 5064072af. I am just needing to know if it will work with my Sirius receiver or not and with my truck. He said the radio come out of a 05 Grand Cherokee. The radio looks identical to others for sale that say they will. Thanks for any help on this. Thanks for any help.

Here'a link with some pictures if they are of any help.

Thanks for the info, I lost that auction butwon another.I finally found on dodge.com to find radio's with part numbersthat fit in a 06, andthe one I won the part numbers matched... So I paid $200 bucks for what they say is a new radio pulled for upgrade from a 300... Seeing how they retail for 600 I think it's probably a good deal... I can sell my current single cd and get some of my money back, about 50 bucks probably from what I have seen on ebay.. Now just hope the dealership doesn't rape me on installing it....

Thanks, bill

if it is another stock one then all you have to do is take the dash of, there is a couple screws. and pull it out and screw the new one in.

when you open the cup holder, the screws are above it. theres only 2 of them. remove the dash, then the stereo, then easily plug in the new one. i experimented with this before. so this will work 100%! lol. then just put it all back together. simple as that! oh, the dash comes off easily. a little extra force may be necessary for it too.

Thanks all, I will look to see if I can do it myself... Just afraid I'll break the dash or something or screw something up.. Dealer saidit will cost my 39 bucks, but I will start looking at it to see if I can do it myself which sounds like I probably can. Once I start doing it should it be pretty evident what I need to do, like when taking off the dash and such.... Thanks

As long as you don't yank on the panel while it is still screwed in, you should be fine...
