propane conversion pics
Here are some pics. I hope you can see them. The one of the engine compartment is showing the propane injectors mounted with lines running down to the intake manifold. One for each cylinder. The other shot of the side of the engine compartment shows the aluminum mount (with cool holes in it). It holds the lock off valve (silver thing) and the regulator (black circular shaped thing) that regulates pressure of the propane. Pressure is increased by raising the temp of the propane with engine coolant.
I don't have a picture of my tank. It is in the back behind the cab. It takes up about as much room as a behind the cab toolbox that everybody seems to have. You can barely see it in the side shot of the truck. Hope this helps. Scott

Switching between gas and propane is as easy as pushing a button. I do not think it is a do-it-yourself kind of project. There was about 900 miles of wire. You have to wire in a new computer. You also have to drill holes in the intake manifold for new injectors. I have pics of that too if you want me to email them. I had this installed. I had a very hard time talking the company into selling me a kit because I was not one of their dealers. I convinced them I knew who could install it. I was about 1000 miles from the nearest dealer. Anyway all is well.
yes it sticks above the bed about 2 inches. You have many options for tanks. I went with a used one because it was cheap. They must be painted a reflecting color or white. Most I have seen are silver or white.
