I have one and it doesn't work. I've never checked the bulb. How the hell do you turn it on? There's no switch.

The underhood light comes with the optional light package. There is no switch ... it just automatically turns on when the hood lifts.

Check the connection to it, then pry the cover off. Its a weird little bulb with loop terminals at both ends.
