I had an 03 Ram Hemi and traded the truck in but kept my superchips. A friend wants to know if he can now use the superchip programer on his 03 Ram Hemi.before i traded my truck in i had set the computer back to stock, not sure if that will let it be used on another truck or not.

Easy way to find out. Plug it into his truck. If it says 'this unit is locked', then no, he can't. If it asks you if you want to tune or read DTC's, then you're good.

 

thank for the info. i did place my old truck back to stock so im sure he will be happy that he can tune his truck now with my old programer.
