Default Internal AC Air Flow Question

My AC vents seem clogged.

When I turn the fan on high, not much Air Flow comes out of the vents.
What does come out is cold tho.
Makes a loud sound too boot, butthats prolly the fan trying to push air.

I had external aftermarket filters just below the windshield. I took those off and it didn't make a differance.

Anyone out there with HVACexperience?

I have a 04 1500 same thing happened at 40 k and they would not fix it said its war was expired and there was no recall on this , said it would be 500.00 plus to fix it also so I just took it home and pulled the door out through the blower fan hole after removing the fan and motor. Alll i have to say is that the AC door system on these rams is trash will not last long and you will be pulling your dash apart to re fix that door or some other one.
Ac Is working fine without the blend door in so I will just leave it like that tell the other doors fail then fix them all at one time.

Curiosity question for you pappy, before you took it in did it take a very long time for the doors to change settings? Does it do it after they replaced the parts?

Mine seems like it takes up to 10 seconds sometimes to change between modes (like defrost to dash vents, for floor to dash).

Pappy, I thinkI have the same problem with my 2006 4x4 Ram quad cab Thunder Road 5.7 lt. When I turn on the blower motor it was making a loud noise and not to much air blowing out. So I lowered the blower motor out from under the dash board on the passenger side and found a broken pice of plastic that broke off the Flapper Door. It was one of the plastic hinges for the flapper door. My flapper door was rubbing the blower motor. I checked my warenty and Im covered. I need to get it back to the dealer to have them fix it. It looks like a hard job to get the ac/heater box out fromunder the dashboard to fix the flapper door.Pappy, did you say there was a recall on this probelm thatI have with my Ram? Do they need to replaceac/heater box under the dash board.
