Default Vibration

I have an 04 Hemi Quad Cab 1500 with the 20inch wheels. Truck is stock. I have been noticing that when traveling around 60-70mph on the highway, I feel an intense vibration of the whole truck. Once I exceed 70mph it smoothes out again. Any thoughts?

I would have the wheels checked for balance but i wouldn't know why it would stop when going faster. Russell from Tn

Tire balance. Any vibration that starts at around highway speeds AND you can drive through (go faster) is tire balance or wheel/tire related.

i had the same problem with my dodge ram and when it got to atleast 40mph to about 65mph got bad vibration had the wheels rebalenced and it wasnt the problem so i check the universal joint on the rear of the drive shaft and it was froze solid but we couldnt tell untill we pulled out the drive shaft we replaced the u joint and it solved the problem

p.s. if it is the problem replace the u joint with a u joint with grease fitting

if that doesnt work you might need to look at your drive shafts, they could be out of ballance
