I can relate to you but I was not as fortunate to just crack the glass I broke all the glass out didn't hurt the black plastic assembly. Went to the dealership to price a new glass can only buy the whole set up $367.00 my truck only has 3000 miles on it. Iboughtone offebay for 175.00. But the next time I go to sonic I will pull both mirrors in.

broke my glass as well including the little plastic tabs that hold the mirror mount to the swivel piece ... long story short ... i went to safelite autoglass and they said the mirror was only about $30 but that they wouldn't be able to put it on since the plastic was broken ... went to dealer to price part and they tried to sell me the whole piece for some outrageous price ... went back to safelite and told them just sell me the mirror and i'd attach it with some liquid nails from home depot ... guy laughed and said if that's what you want to do i can mount it with windshield adhesive ... did that ... no problems since ... and it still swivels just fine

Sorry that this is a bit late but, www.fastglassinc.com can order that piece for you. I had to order one for my 08' Ram tow mirrors and it was only $30.00

BADA BING BADA BANG. I'm sure you've probably replaced yours since but this was such a nice find I was so happy with I had to share with everyone that has been asking.
