Default RE: integrity chrysler sucks,

i am more upset at the quality of the customer service at that dealership. the truck drove fine fine and other than being a llittle noisy in the engine, i liked it, i just got tired of all the bs at that dealership,
the comment made about the future ford problems did **** me off though, this is my second explorer, the first was a 98, 2wd, but same motor and trans, 4.0 and 5spd auto. i have always had fords before, until i bought a solara and then the dodge. i had a ranger with 232 thousand miles, on it before the engine went out, i drove for 3 months with no oil pressure before it went, and the damn ting would still run, just not to well. i dont think anyone can say that about there dodge motor.
every manufacture has had problems with one car or another. dodge has had several with sludging, toyota, has had head gaskets fail at around 60k. and yeah the 5r55e trans has had its share of problems, but just like the rest, they worked it out.

just out of curiosity, who is the guy on this forum that also is on explorerfourm.com?

There's really no reason to rip on ***** here because he bought a Ford.

Obviously you are on a Dodge site, so responses will be pretty biased. I think a lot of REALLY good advice (especially that link) was given in this thread. Man, let's not turn it into a big bitch-fest pile of **** now. Every manufacturer, Dodge, Ford, Toyota, etc... are going to have lemons. Unfortunately your dealership didn't want to make it right for you. Hopefully you learned something from your dealership buying experience, and not just "Dodge sucks!". You got taken for a ride, and unfortunately you let it happen. I'm glad it worked out and you got a vehicle you are happy with. I hope it lasts a long time. Next time, though, bring a good negotiator with you when you buy, though.

I gotta say that Integrity's Service Dept. was the ****! I bought my truck at Desert Dodge (mixed feelings about them), but Integrity is just down the street from me.

Sorry to hear about your problems with their sales and customer service. Good luck with your Explorer, I've actually had no bad experiences with them (besides when my buddy wrecked his while I was in the back seat). My other friend just got the brand new Ironman edition 2wd. Pretty sweet ride. I'm not a big fan of Fanboys for any brand. Good luck with your new vehicle.
