Default headrest for back seat

Greetings! I am new to this forum, but have a tough question: has anyone added a center headrest to their back seat on a quad cab? I have a 2006 CTD quad and there's no headrest for the center portion of the back seat. I have 3 children who sit in the back all the time, so I want to add one for safety. Dealership is clueless. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Heres an idea: get a piece of metal or wood and shove it down behind the seat in the middle, then gets some foam and material make a "headrest" and attach it to the wood or metal. Cheap and easy headrest.

I would think that it would get in your way in the rearview mirror

it may impact the vision slightly, but its worth it for safety.

Who needs a rearview... the only time I use mine is to see if there is a cop behind me... I am too used to driving things that don't have them.

yeah but think of it this way, if its to go behind his kids head, the kids head is probably in that spot already...
